Spring Break

Last week was my beloved Spring Break. This used to be the week I would "catch up" on things like sleep, laundry and grading papers plus have the extra time to do some sort of organizing, cleaning project and maybe even something really crazy like exercise! Well that was then and this is now. Now I have a kid. A fun, sweet, loveable kid. But also a very active, get into everything, always want something kid who absolutely wore. me. out.

Seriously, stay at home moms have the hardest job in the world.

We did have some fun though.  I was thankful for a few days of sunshine and the chance to get out of the house. We stayed busy and, as always, the time went by way too fast.

We tried new things:

Like using a fork

And saying "outside"

We played:

with cars on the window sills

and giant giraffes

and dinosaurs on the fridge

And we went to the park a few times where there were LOTS of fun things:

Like swings!

and slides

and Auntie Becky on a weird cow

and Uncle Timmy who let Caleb be up high

and more swings!

and grass to run on

and Mommy

and hugs

and snuggles

and fun on the train

and smiles in the sand :)
