End of summer

Here we are...catching up again. Can you guess what's happening? Yep. I'm on Thanksgiving Break!

So let's review the end of July, August, and September shall we?

We ended the summer with a fun visit from my cousin Kara and her family. We went to the beach on one of the most beautiful days ever!

This one loves the water.

Eating sand. Yum!

We also went to the good 'ol Sonoma County Fair. Adam was SO bummed he had to work (not really...) It was super hot so we didn't last long, but it was still fun for the kids.

Free ice cream!

Jiggle Feet!

August meant school time and getting busy again. Caleb also started school two days a week. I was more than a little worried about the potty training thing, but he has had zero accidents since starting school. He really likes it, is learning fun things, is well behaved and is making some friends. I'm a proud, happy Mommy.

In September the weather around here is too beautiful to pass up. We went to the Oakland Zoo for a day. We also took a hike a Riverfront Park. It's so beautiful and only five minutes from our house! It is quickly becoming one of our favorite places.
Chimpanzees. They were fun to watch.

Up close with a giant tortoise

This is his alligator face.

They could throw rocks for hours.
