2 months

So I am a little late with this, but Caleb turned 2 months old on April 20th. Everyone always says how fast the lives of your children seem to go by - it's totally true. It seems like just last week we brought our little guy home, and here we at over 2 months old already!

At his last Dr's appt., Caleb is actually below 0 percentile in all areas (which I don't really get. Does that mean he's negative percentile?!) Technically we get to subtract 5 weeks and they measure his weight and height from where he would be if he was born on his due date, but still, it's weird to hear your son isn't even on the charts yet! Anyway here are his current stats:

Weight: 8 lbs. 2 oz.
Height: 21 1/2 inches

So yeah...he's finally the size of a regular newborn. To me, he looks SO much bigger, but to most mom's he's still a little guy. Good news is he's healthy and growing at the rate he should be, so all is well. :)

He took his shots like a tropper and is getting stronger every day. He can now hold his head up quite well, grabs at things, turns when you say his name (which from me is "Bubba") and is starting to smile...which absolutely melts my heart!!

My sleepy boy

LOVE!!!

Fun in the bath

Finally getting too big for his "monkey mat"

As for me, I am loving being a mommy. It's exhausting and stressful at times, but so, so worth it!

  1. I love the pictures!! Don't worry about the percentile. As long as he is growing and eating (which he looks like he is doing ;) then he is absolutely perfect!! Gracie was in the "0" percentile for a long time too! He is positively precious!
